Covers.com: They Do Betting Right

When it comes to NFL odds, Super Bowl betting, or football gambling in general, there are websites that do it the right way and websites that do it the wrong way. Covers.com is an example of a website that does it right way. They respect each and every person that comes on their website and they would never do anything to insult their intelligence. They are grateful and humbled that people visit their website and they want to keep them coming back for more. They know the way to do that is by being honest, upfront, and truthful with everyone that visits Covers.com

They only hire the best of the best when it comes to their experts. They don’t hire just anyone to doll out advice and wisdom. They are looking for people that know everything there is to know about the NFL, which is why I can’t recommend Covers.com enough. There is so much that goes into football and so much that is involved in it. Because of this, people need to visit Covers.com to get as much information as possible. While on the website, they can be a sponge and absorb as much information as they can retain. That is the best way to get good at this.

As everyone knows, the NFL is a week-to-week league and because of this, people need to stay informed on things like injuries, if a team is coming off a bye week, and what to expect in terms of how they match up. That is a critical part of this and it is a big reason why so many people visit them, especially when the Super Bowl rolls around. They know they are going to look at the Super Bowl and break it down in the best way possible. This is more than just a job for them. It is something they love.

It is often said that when it comes to passion, people can either notice it or they can’t. It is not something that can be hidden and it is something that people will pick up on when they visit the site. When people visit Covers.com, they see writers and a team of people that are truly committed to this and truly want to make people winners. When their customers win, they feel happy knowing they have played a part in that process for them and helped them along the way.

Malini Saba: A Merger of Business and Charity

When we think of humanitarian efforts, we often think of them as being completely separate from business. Business people are only interested in profits and furthering their own cause, right? They cannot possibly have the sensibility to work for other people. Well, when it comes to Malini Saba, this notion gets turned on its head.

Malini was born and raised in Sri Lanka, in Southern Asia. When she was 19 years old, she moved to the United States with her husband to pursue an education. She only had $200 to her name when she first arrived, so getting this education was extremely difficult. Luckily, she was able to sit in on some business courses that her husband was attending, and this was the first time that she fell in love with the world of investment. She wanted to join the venture capital movement that was sweeping the globe at the time, so she applied at several firms, only to be turned down every time. She eventually decided to just start her own company.

Malini Saba is now the Chairwoman of Saban, a global investment firm that has several investments in oil and gas, technology, real estate, and a plethora of commodities. Saban breaks the normal notions of what it means to be an investment firm. Malini likes to take risks, and she is not afraid to invest in places that other investors are too scared to go. Malini looks five years down the road and wants to know what the trends and investment opportunities will be then, rather than looking at the current state of things. This helps her get in before everyone else, and pull more profits out than any other investor is able to. This helped to make Saban a multi million dollar company. However, Malini does not just sit on stacks of cash like another investor might. She is actively giving back and improving the world one dollar at a time.

In 2001, Malini started Stree, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the rights of women and challenging how their roles in society are seen. This organization provides women empowerment and the means to create their own movements. Malini also gives millions each year to charities and causes, such as the $10 million that she gave for tsunami relief in 2004 to her home country of Sri Lanka.

Malini Saba is the epitome of the merger of business and philanthropy, and through her love of investments, her background of poverty, and her need to give back, she has created an empire that will help the world for generations to come.

Human Rights Founder Thor Halvorssen Fights Against Tyranny

When North Korean hackers attacked Sony for their production of the Interview, a movie mocking the dictator of the DPRK, Thor Halvorssen of the Human Rights Foundation wasn’t going to sit by idly.

Instead, Halvorssen gathered up his team to conduct an air-raid of sorts to bring anti-regime propaganda and money to those suffering under the horrific dictatorship in North Korea.

A report in the Weekly Standard follows the entire process. The team enters into South Korea already with threats to their lives. Near the North Korean border, Halvorssen and his team release large balloons carrying goods designed to be dropped in the DPRK for it’s oppressed citizens.

A GPS tracker later reveals that the balloons were redirected south. According to the Weekly Standard report, Halvorssen immediately began brainstorming about using drones.

Before returning home, Thor Halvorssen visits a television station in Seoul, Channel A, where he stresses the importance of fighting for the DPRK’s freedom and challenges all citizens of South Korea to not be scared of the leaders of North Korea and to stand up and fight for the rights and freedom of their neighboring countrymen.

Thor Halvorssen is the founder of the Human Right’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to protecting and promoting human rights in the most violated places in the world.

Before founding the HR Foundation, Halvorssen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania focusing on History and Political Science, both for which he graduated with a Bachelor and Masters Degree.

The HR Foundation was established in 2005 and is based in New York. Halvorssen himself is half-Norwegian and half-Venezuelan. Being the son of a Venezuelan mother, Halvorssen was born in Caracas and raised there for a good portion of his life. He speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Halvorssen is more than a human rights activist as he has several first-hand experiences in the matter. Both his parents were killed in violation of human rights. His mother, a descendant of both Simón Bolívar and Cristóbal Mendoza was fatally shot during a demonstration against Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

According to Crunchbase, Thor Halvorssen’s father worked under Carlos Andrés Pérez as the Ambassador for Anti-Narcotic Affairs. He was eventually imprisoned and tortured during an investigation of the Medellin drug cartel. Halvorssen, aided by Amnesty International, was eventually able to gain his father’s release, free of all charges. Also, Halvorssen’s cousin, Leopoldo Lopez is currently imprisoned in Caracas.
